With the redevelopment of the south side of Brookfield Square Mall with reconstruction of the Sears Store to Marcus Theaters, Whirlyball and restaurants and additional restaurant outlots, a new hotel and conference center was proposed to be constructed south of the Brookfield Square Mall ring road. TADI conducted an addendum of the previously conducted Brookfield Square Mall TIA (previously conducted by TADI) to include the hotel and conference center. TADI evaluated vehicular and pedestrian crossings and safety to/from the hotel and conference center to the south end of the mall. TADI recommended access modifications, traffic control, raised pedestrian crossings, signing and marking along the Brookfield Square Mall south ring road. The following tasks were performed:
