National Safety Award Winner!

Congratulations to the Village of Whitefish Bay, WI for being one of seven recipients of the prestigious National Roadway Safety Award co-sponsored by FHWA and the Roadway Safety Foundation!

After years of increasing crashes, TADI helped the village identify safety improvements that have put a smile on residents’ faces. Crashes have been reduced 46% since 2015 through federally supported projects and innovative engineering solutions, such as a “Danish Offset” crossing!

The cumulative five-year impact is an estimated 257 fewer law enforcement responses, 480 vehicles not damaged, and eight pedestrians or bicyclists spared from being struck by vehicles.
