The development of consists of a mix of apartments, retail, hotel, and fitness which is directly north of the successful “The Corners of Brookfield” development.
The USH 18/Bluemound Road corridor is a heavily developed, heavily traveled major arterial through Brookfield. The Bluemound Road corridor is one of the heaviest traveled commercial corridors in the state and the Bluemound Road intersection with Barker Road is one of the busiest intersections in the region.
The development of consists of a mix of apartments, retail, hotel, and fitness which is directly north of the successful “The Corners of Brookfield” development. TADI conducted a TIA per WisDOT guidelines and requirements for this mixed-use development for WisDOT, Waukesha County, and the Town of Brookfield approval. TADI evaluated the development access roadways and driveways to Bluemound Road and Barker Road. TADI recommended modifying the access to Barker Road and upgrading the Barker Road signalized intersection with Watertown Road. The following tasks were performed:
